Hoopfest Memories
Year: 2004
Team Name: Who’s That DudeUniform: David Koechner & a question markPlayers: Josh N., Josh G., Mike, Ian
We got our team name that year from the worst (read: best) delivered line in any movie by any actor. I’m talking of course about Norm McDonald’s line, “Who’s that dude!?” in his classic movie, Dirty Work. He delivers the line to his girlfriend in the film and he’s referring to a used car salesman played by the amazing David Koechner. It’s shouted in true Norm M. acting style and doesn’t really sound like a question. I highly recommend that movie to anyone looking for acting and toilet comedy gold.
My favorite part, Josh N. now actually owns the orange shirt Norm was wearing when he delivered that line. I found it for sale in a North Hollywood prop re-seller and got it for his birthday. You can keep your Dumbledore robe and Maltese Falcon, Warner Brothers Studio Tour… We’ve got Norm’s shirt!
