  1. junesix:

In 1937, Swiss watch and clock manufacturer Jaeger Le Coultre designed the “Compass”, a compact 35mm rangefinder camera from 1937.

In true Swiss fashion, it had the full suite of Swiss army flip-out tools.

Back in 1937, this camera was quite affordable at £30 compared to £125 for a Leica III. Today, this collector’s item sells for $1,800-2,200.
